CBCS has developed a process, called Consumer Portfolio Reactivation (CPR), which tracks millions of consumers.
First, the accounts are loaded into our collection system, where the consumer information is tied to our Information Services Division (ISD). When right party contact information is updated with ISD, it is also updated in our collection system in real time. When Right Party Contact information is updated, our collection management team is notified that new information is available, and collection efforts can resume immediately.
This interface allows CBCS to realize a substantial boost in its recovery of delinquent accounts by automatically supplying the new location information to our collectors.
CBCS will also rescore the account to determine if the consumers’ circumstances have changed, and if he or she is now able to pay. CBCS can continually monitor every account in collections.
